DD: Slowe Hall

Dear Diary,

            I love living in Slowe! Unlike last year, I have my room to myself, and even though it's not that big it beats having a roommate. It's really starting to feel like home now that I've been here for a semester. I feel like I stay up until 2 am every night hanging out in my friends' rooms laughing and having fun. After winter break I was actual happy to get back to my room and I was excited to start the semester. The best part about Slowe is that I can get a lot of work and studying done without having really loud floor mates. It's not always quiet and at times it can get ratchet, but for the most part everything is really lowkey. Even when I go into the lounge there isn't a crazy amount of noise. It also helps that it isn't that close to campus because we don't get all of that traffic outside.

            The one thing that took some getting used to was that shower closet. It's usually clean, but walking down a hallway to go to the bathroom is not the move late at night. Some of the showers don't work, and one time I opened the shower closet door to find some roaches! EWWWWW! But my biggest pet peeve is the Wifi, I swear it only works when it wants to, and it especially doesn't work when you have to do research for your homework. They say they're trying to fix it but I'm going to have to believe that when I see it!

            Slowe is like any dorm really, good and bad but I definitely don't regret picking it. Shoot! I'm going to make sure to rack up on RSVP points so that I can live here again next year!
