Bright and early on Saturday Nov. 12, families of the national service organization "Mocha Moms" traveled to the Regal Theater at Gallery Place for a special treat.
In partnership with Liquid Soul Media and Warner Brothers Pictures, Mocha Moms hosted a special screening of "Happy Feet Two" which is set to premiere next weekend on Nov. 18.
"We hosted this event because want to support the community," said Arnita Evans, President of the Waldorf Chapter of Mocha Moms who came with her two kids. " I think it's important for our kids to mingle with each other and it's important for us as mothers to get together so we can talk and fellowship."
The Mocha Moms, which have over 100 chapters and 3000 members nationwide, and Liquid Soul Media hosted three screenings of the movie in D.C., Atlanta and Chicago.
"These screenings are an opportunity for us to get national recognition as an organization," Evans said. "To have a company like Warner Brothers let us screen their movie is a huge opportunity."
