On Friday, members of the Howard University community were informed that freshman Arianne Carr was reported missing.
The student left her home in Oakland, California on Saturday Jan. 7, 2012 preparing to return to D.C. for school. According to an email sent by the Department of Public Safety, Arianne did in fact arrive in D.C. and has been seen on campus. Her family however has been unable to reach her.
Members of the Howard University Department of Public Safety were unavailable for interviews, but continue to look for updated information from The Hilltop. If anyone has any information on the missing student they are encouraged to contact the Department of Public Safety at 202-806-1100.
