This hip and homey coffee shop sits perfectly in its quaint Bloomingdale location.

The atmosphere and the aroma are bound to intice all senses---allowing visitors to settle in quicky to this lofty little spot.

This Coffee Shop was on the 2011 Best of Washington Coffee Shops:

"Order coffee with cream and sugar at Big Bear Cafe and you'll get French-press Counter Culture coffee with fresh-from-the-farm milk and natural cane sugar. Try to get one of the candlelit tables on the patio in front, near the organic garden. Open until 9 on Friday and Saturday."

This coffee shop provides something different from the norm—even hosting Improv and Comedy Nights on Fridays. Trek through the city, grab a bite and have a sip.

Let the beans be your aid—in the long nights of studying ahead.
